Violinist Aleksey Igudesman and pianist Hyung-Ki Joo are two virtuosos and two happy guys. They met at the Yehudi Menuhin School, and masterfully combine musical rigor and the most wacky humour. They play with the orchestra and play with it, and hang on to a humor reminiscent of Monty Python. Their show, "Happy Concert", unbridled, delirious, unleashed, hilarious, seizes Beethoven's Ninth Symphony and takes it on a journey to nine countries around the world with a lot of exoticism and percussion.
