In 2021, Daniel Hope returns to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern: Together with the Zurich Chamber Orchestra, the world star will make a stop at the Konzertkirche Neubrandenburg both as Music Director and as a soloist. Under the direction of Christoph Eschenbach, the musicians will perform works by Haydn, Bach and Mozart. In Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 5, the Japanese Naoki Kitaya takes over the part on the harpsichord and the sought-after young flutist Stathis Karapanos the orchestral flute on the stage of the church, which has been converted into a concert hall.

2021 kehrt Daniel Hope zurück nach Mecklenburg-Vorpommern: Gemeinsam mit dem Zürcher Kammerorchester macht der Weltstar sowohl als Music Director als auch als Solist Station in der Konzertkirche Neubrandenburg. Unter der Leitung von Christoph Eschenbach geben sich die Musikerinnen und Musiker die Ehre und bringen Werke von Haydn, Bach und Mozart zu Gehör. In Bachs Brandenburgischen Konzert Nr. 5 übernehmen der Japaner Naoki Kitaya den Part am Cembalo und der gefragte Nachwuchsflötist Stathis Karapanos die Orchesterflöte auf der Bühne der zum Konzertsaal umgebauten Kirche.
