The title that Matthew Hindson gave his flute concerto has two meanings: on the one hand, with house music he refers to elements of techno and dance music, which he incorporates into his composition of classical art music. On the other hand, the work portrays everyday events in a more or less everyday house.
Ludovico Degli Innocenti, musician of the Carinthian Symphony Orchestra, will explore the tonal possibilities of the flute with the audience in this Austrian premiere . Hindson's piece is framed by Beethoven's overture The Consecration of the House and what is probably his lightest symphony. In addition, Unsuk Chin's brief but concise examination of Beethoven's work subito con forza can be heard. Conductor Adrien Perruchon conducts the Carinthian Symphony Orchestra.

Der Titel, den Matthew Hindson seinem Flötenkonzert gab, ist doppeldeutig: Einerseits verweist er mit House Music auf Elemente von Techno- und Dance-Musik, die er in seiner Komposition klassischer Kunstmusik aufnimmt. Andererseits porträtiert das Werk das alltägliche Geschehen in einem mehr oder weniger alltäglichen Wohnhaus. Ludovico Degli Innocenti, Musiker des Kärntner Sinfonieorchesters, wird in dieser Österreichischen Erstaufführung die klanglichen Möglichkeiten der Flöte mit dem
Publikum neu erkunden. Umrahmt wird Hindsons Stück von Beethovens Ouvertüre Die Weihe des Hauses sowie seiner wohl unbeschwertesten Sinfonie. Außerdem erklingt Unsuk Chins kurze, aber prägnante Auseinandersetzung mit Beethovens Schaffen subito con forza. Am Pult des Kärntner Sinfonieorchesters steht Dirigent Adrien Perruchon.
