Dr. Henry Jekyll, the well-known English psychiatrist, researches the motives and mechanisms of the duality in the personality, while developing a serum that can be used to reach the depths of the human soul, close to the evil that exists in all of us, thus earning the distaste of the Hippocratic and conservative medicine of the time. Where is the line between good and bad? How far and how can we get to know our personality if we research the secrets of the dark side? And if we reach the deepest layers of the personality, if we have experienced the essence of our evil self, is there a way back into our social existence? Dr. Jekyll finds a bold solution to the problems raised in the questions: he tries the serum on himself. However, we already know the answer, the horrible certainty, from Mr. Edward Hyde...

Dr. Henry Jekyll, a jónevű angol elmeorvos a személyiségben meglévő kettősség motívumait és mechanizmusát kutatja, miközben kifejleszt egy olyan szérumot, amely segítségével az emberi lélek mélyére, a mindannyiunkban meglévő gonosz közelébe lehet jutni, kivívva ezzel a korabeli hippokrita és konzervatív medicína ellenszenvét. Hol húzódik a határ a jó és a rossz között? Meddig és hogyan juthatunk el személyiségünk megismerésében, ha a sötét oldal titkait kutatjuk? S ha elérünk a személyiség legmélyebb rétegeihez, ha megtapasztaltuk gonosz énünk lényegét, van-e visszaút társadalmi létünkbe?
