With the figure of Medea, one of the great figures of Greek legends is the focus of this year's Baroque Days at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden. In addition to the Medea operas by Marc-Antoine Charpentier and Luigi Cherubini, which can be experienced in the opera house, Georg Anton Benda's rarely heard melodrama will also be performed in concert with the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin in the Pierre Boulez Saal. Mit der Figur der Medea steht eine der großen Gestalten der griechischen Sagenwelt im Mittelpunkt der diesjährigen Barocktage der Staatsoper Unter den Linden.
