JUNGLE opéra sauvage - teaser

This wild opera by Stéphane Guignard and Jean-Christophe Feldhandler retraces the initiatory quest of the "little man", Mowgli.
In an evocative setting, we quickly recognize our heroes from Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book , interpreted by four lyrical singers who growl, whisper, roar ...
We find Mowgli, Sherkhan, Bagherra and Baloo there; we find ourselves there in our desires to return to the wild, in our desires for freedom. From the lyrical world to contemporary writings, in images and sensations, Jungle is a nice return to childhood where we open up to other landscapes, ears on the lookout for the unheard of.
The composer Jean-Christophe Feldhandler also seizes on this savagery and weaves a vocal score mixed with exotic and playful instrumental interactions.
