Spätestens seit ihrem Auftritt als Sophie in Barrie Koskys Rosenkavalier-Inszenierung an der Bayerischen Staatsoper ist der jungen kirgisischen, in Berlin und München ausgebildeten Sängerin die Aufmerksamkeit der Opernwelt gewiss. Seit 2018 gehört sie zum Ensemble der Hamburgischen Staatsoper, wo sie u.a. als Ännchen, Zerlina, Susanna und Pamina überzeugte. An der Semperoper in Dresden sang sie die Zdenka und übernahm bei den Bayreuther Festspielen die Rolle des Hirten in Tobias Kratzers Tannhäuser-Inszenierung. Auch auf dem Konzertpodium hat sie sich einen Namen gemacht, u.a. mit dem Brahms-Requiem sowie als Liedsängerin z.B. bei der Schubertiade Schwarzenberg und in der Londoner Wigmore Hall. In Frankfurt präsentiert sie sich mit Werken von Mozart und Schubert; ihr Begleiter Ammiel Bushakevitz wechselt dabei zwischen Klavier und Gitarre. Die beiden haben ihrem Abend den Titel Schauspiel – durch die Nacht gegeben.

At the latest since her appearance as Sophie in Barrie Kosky's production of the Rosenkavalier at the Bavarian State Opera, the young Kyrgyz singer, who trained in Berlin and Munich, has certainly attracted the attention of the opera world. She has been part of the ensemble of the Hamburg State Opera since 2018, where she impressed as Ännchen, Zerlina, Susanna and Pamina. She sang Zdenka at the Semperoper in Dresden and took on the role of the shepherd in Tobias Kratzer's Tannhäuser at the Bayreuth Festival-Staging. She has also made a name for herself on the concert stage, for example with the Brahms Requiem and as a lieder singer, for example at the Schubertiade Schwarzenberg and in London's Wigmore Hall. Accompanied by Ammiel Buskevitz, who has already appeared here together with Konstantin Krimmel and Anna Lucia Richter, Katharina Konradi is now presenting her first recital at the Frankfurt Opera. Works by Mozart and Schubert enter into a dialogue with compositions by Clara and Robert Schumann.
