When he takes his seat at the fortepiano in the Helmut List Halle tonight (July 21, 6 & 8 p.m.) together with the strings from the Alinde Quartet, the fish will glide more easily and shimmering through the bright little stream than ever before. Of course, the trout is also available as a song with the quintet, featuring Daniel Johannsen, the ultimate Schubert tenor. And other pearls of fish lust, more or less adult.

Könnte man Schubert fröhlicher feiern? Der geniale Liedtenor Daniel Johannsen und der wunderbare Pianofortespieler Kristian Bezuidenhout tun sich zusammen, um von Schuberts Wanderungen durch Österreich zu erzählen. Doch Vorsicht: Hinter der Forelle verbirgt sich ein amouröser Doppelsinn. Ein junger Mann möchte Frauen angeln und trübt dazu das Wasser wie der Fischer beim Forellenfang. Im herrlichen „Forellenquintett“ kann man die instrumentale Version des Liedes ohne Hintersinn genießen.

Die Vorstellung dauert 60 bis 70 Minuten ohne Pause.
