Astrakhan will become one of the five cities in the Volga region, where the premiere of the interregional cultural and educational project "Music of Vasily Shukshin", which received the support of the Ministry of Culture of Russia, will take place.

On September 14, at 7 p.m., the Volgograd Academic Symphony Orchestra will perform on the stage of the Astrakhan State Opera and Ballet Theater under the direction of the author of the project, laureate of international competitions Anton Zhukov (Kaliningrad), the choir of the Volgograd State Theater "Tsaritsynskaya Opera", as well as the winner of all-Russian and international competitions, soloist of the Bolshoi Theater Vladimir Baikov (bass-baritone). The popular theater and film actor, Honored Artist of Russia Andrey Merzlikin will perform text fragments of Vasily Shukshin's novel "I Came to Give You Freedom", his epistolary heritage, interviews and articles, as well as the brilliant lines of Mikhail Sholokhov's novel "They Fought for the Motherland".

It is known that the image of Stepan Razin, starting from the 60s of the last century, has become a kind of leitmotif of Shukshin's work, and that is why in the first part of the concert the symphonic poem "Stenka Razin" by Alexander Glazunov will be performed, fragments from the choral symphony-action "Chimes" by Valery Gavrilin on words by Albina Shulgina and the vocal-symphonic poem "The Execution of Stepan Razin" by Dmitry Shostakovich to lyrics by Yevgeny Yevtushenko. The second section will be devoted to Shukshin's latest film works: the film "Kalina Krasnaya" and the image of Private Pyotr Lopakhin in Sergei Bondarchuk's film "They Fought for the Motherland". The large-scale composition will end with the performance of Yevgeny Svetlanov's symphonic poem "Kalina Krasnaya" and the music by Vyacheslav Ovchinnikov for the film epic "They Fought for the Motherland". A cycle of five musical and literary evenings will open in the Great Hall of the Rostov State Philharmonic on September 2. Then there will be performances in Samara and Saratov. It is symbolic that the tour will end on the day of memory of the film director, actor, screenwriter and writer Vasily Makarovich Shukshin on October 2 at the Central Concert Hall of the Volgograd Philharmonic.

Астрахань станет одним из пяти городов Поволжья, где состоится премьера межрегионального культурно-просветительского проекта «Музыка Василия Шукшина», получившего поддержку Министерства культуры России.

14 сентября в 19:00 на сцене Астраханского государственного театра оперы и балета выступит Волгоградский академический симфонический оркестр под руководством автора проекта, лауреата международных конкурсов Антона Жукова (Калининград), хор Волгоградский государственный театр «Царицынская опера», а также лауреат всероссийских и международных конкурсов, солист Большого театра Владимир Байков (бас-баритон). Популярный актер театра и кино, заслуженный артист России Андрей Мерзликин исполнит текстовые фрагменты романа Василия Шукшина «Я пришел дать вам волю», его эпистолярное наследие, интервью и статьи, а также блестящие строки романа Михаила Шолохова «Они Сражался за Родину».

Известно, что образ Степана Разина, начиная с 60-х годов прошлого века, стал своеобразным лейтмотивом творчества Шукшина, и именно поэтому в первом отделении концерта звучит симфоническая поэма «Стенька Разин» Александра Глазунова. прозвучат фрагменты из хоровой симфонии-действия «Перезвоны» Валерия Гаврилина на слова Альбины Шульгиной и вокально-симфонической поэмы «Казнь Степана Разина» Дмитрия Шостаковича на слова Евгения Евтушенко. Второй раздел будет посвящен последним киноработам Шукшина: фильму «Калина красная» и образу рядового Петра Лопахина в фильме Сергея Бондарчука «Они сражались за Родину». Масштабная композиция завершится исполнением симфонической поэмы Евгения Светланова «Калина красная» и музыки Вячеслава Овчинникова к киноэпопее «Они сражались за Родину». Цикл из пяти музыкально-литературных вечеров откроется в Большом зале Ростовской государственной филармонии 2 сентября. Затем состоятся выступления в Самаре и Саратове. Символично, что гастроли завершатся в день памяти кинорежиссера, актера, сценариста и писателя Василия Макаровича Шукшина 2 октября в ЦКЗ Волгоградской филармонии.
