Musicatreize: Concert Various

Musicatreize was created in 1987 by Roland Hayrabedian. Since that day, the ensemble has defended the repertoire of the 20th century, increased and diversified this repertoire with new works, confronted eras and aesthetics and established in the south of France a privileged tool for musical creation. A variable-geometry ensemble, Musicatreize explores the vocal universe in all its forms, from 12 a cappella voices to works for choir and orchestra via musical theatre. Refusing to any aesthetic chapel, Musicatreize serves musical creation in what is most intrinsically sensitive and original with the desire to highlight a Mediterranean spirit. The range of currents of musical thought goes from Alberto Posadas to Tapio Tuomela, from Edith Canat de Chizy to Oscar Strasnoy,

In 2007, Musicatreize won a Victory for Classical Music – Ensemble of the Year category. The ensemble was named in 2017 "National Company with international influence" by the Ministry of Culture.
