Un nuovo allestimento in cui immergere l’antica trama shakesperiana e intrecciare la verità fino a farla tortuosa, a farla tormento. Sul palco del Festival Verdi Rudy Park e Carlo Ventre, Marco Vratogna, Manuele Pieratelli, Aurelia Florian sono artefici e schiavi di un destino che si manifesta in un fazzoletto “più sottil d'un velo”. Ma non è la sorte a muovere l’opera: è la musica di Verdi, eseguita dalla Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini e interpretata dal Coro del Teatro Regio di Parma, diretti da Daniele Callegari, il solo “inganno” capace di emozionare da 128 anni con un bacio… un bacio ancora… un altro bacio….

A new staging in which to immerse the ancient Shakespearean plot and weave the truth up to make it tortuous, to torment it. On the stage of the Verdi Festival Rudy Park and Carlo Ventre, Marco Vratogna, Manuele Pieratelli, Aurelia Florian are the masters and slaves of a destiny that manifests itself in a handkerchief "thinner than a veil". But it is not fate that moves the opera: it is Verdi's music, performed by the Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini and interpreted by the Chorus of the Teatro Regio di Parma, directed by Daniele Callegari, the only "deception" capable of thrilling for 128 years with a kiss… one more kiss… another kiss….
