Together with the French soprano Patricia Petibon, the La Cetra Baroque Orchestra Basel, conducted by Andrea Marcon, ignites a firework of emotions and affects in the Frauenkirche and takes the audience into the magical worlds of baroque and classical opera. With works by the composers Mozart, Gluck, Handel or Rameau, who are all versed in music drama, the artists make their audience laugh, suffer and love. As one of the leading baroque orchestras in the world, La Cetra and the singer, who was acclaimed for her interpretations of French and Italian music of the 17th and 18th centuries, ensure a gripping and lively sound magic.
