The Elixir of Love

Who has not dreamed (even just once!) Of having a miraculous drink that could turn the heart of a loved one to him, not yet very tender and open to love confessions and proposals? What if, God forbid, this elixir offers an itinerant charlatan that makes the naive and in love this way? This is the starting point for a real heart drama - or a great comedy full of funny situations and funny misunderstandings. And this is what Gaetano Donizetti thought when composing the music for one of the loveliest comic operas, The Love Potion. The story of the unlucky Nemorin, beautiful Adina and clever Dulcamara will surely not disappoint any listener!

The Szczecin production takes viewers to the Italian province of the 1930s. On stage, there is a beautiful scenery, costumes and period vehicles.
