Portugal tour 1st concert in Marvao Castello: Concert

The Athens State Orchestra is on tour for the first time in Portugal, performing music of the European classical repertoire but also presenting the great Greek composer Nikos Skalkottas. In Marvao Castello, the first stop of its tour, the Athens State Orchestra will interpret Antonin Dvorak’s pieces, conducted by the eminent German conductor, violinist and tutor Christophe Poppen. The rising violinis Veronica Eberle and the distinguished soprano Juliane Banse will participate as soloists.

Η Κρατική Ορχήστρα Αθηνών περιοδεύει για πρώτη φορά στην Πορτογαλία παρουσιάζοντας έργα του ευρωπαϊκού κλασικού ρεπερτορίου αλλά και προβάλλοντας τον μεγάλο Έλληνα συνθέτη Νίκο Σκαλκώτα. Στον πρώτο σταθμό της περιοδείας της, το Marvao Castello, η Κρατική Ορχήστρα Αθηνών θα ερμηνεύσει έργα του Antonin Dvorak υπό τη διεύθυνση του καταξιωμένου Γερμανού αρχιμουσικού, βιολιστή και παιδαγωγού Christophe Poppen. Συμπράττουν η ανερχόμενη βιολονίστα Veronika Eberle και η διακεκριμένη υψίφωνος Juliane Banse.
