The very first opera in the history of music served by Leonardo García Alarcón.

Leonardo García Alarcón puts his musicality and sense of drama at the service  of Monteverdi's L'Orfeo  , considered the very first opera in the history of Western music. If the score is known, it finds new sounds thanks to the historical research of the Argentinian conductor and his Cappella Mediterranea ensemble. Together, they questioned instrumentation, dynamics, tempo, to deliver a version as readable and expressive as it is natural.

Leonardo García Alarcón met sa musicalité et son sens de la dramaturgie au service de L’Orfeo de Monteverdi, considéré comme le tout premier opéra de l’histoire de la musique occidentale. Si la partition est connue, elle trouve des sonorités inédites grâce aux recherches historiques du chef argentin et à son ensemble Cappella Mediterranea. Ensemble, ils ont questionné instrumentation, dynamiques, tempi, pour livrer une version aussi lisible et expressive que naturelle.
