Since joining the ensemble in 2013/14 Andreas Bauer Kanabas has thrilled audiences in Frankfurt with his imposing voice and roles including Sarastro, the Commendatore, Osmin, Philipp II, Fiesco, Marchese von Calatrava / Padre Guardiano, the Water Sprite and the title role in Bluebeard's Castle. His Wagner roles include Daland, Heinrich der Vogler, Landgraf Hermann von Thüringen and King Marke. Buy his debut CD Love And Despair (OehmsClassics)!  Internationally sought-after, he has appeared at the Vienna State Opera the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, La Scala Milan, the Opéra National in Paris and New National Theatre in Tokyo. Come to his first recital in Frankfurt to hear him singing Schubert's Schwanengesang.
