Ljubljana Festival and Glasbena matica Ljubljana will pay tribute with a singing recital to the 80th birthday of our renowned and excellent composer Lojzet Lebič, who celebrates his birthday on the day of the concert.

Lojze Lebič is a key figure in the Slovenian cultural world, a great humanist, insightful thinker, intellectual and critical observer of everything that happens around us, and above all – a profound and penetrating artist.

Lebic's solos will be recreated by soprano Martina Zadro and baritone Jože Vidic, accompanied by Lana Bradić and Vladimir Mlinarić. In the first part of the concert, we will listen to the Italian Songbook, at least somewhat by "our" Hugo Wolf.

Ljubljana Festivalin Glasbena matica Ljubljana se bosta s pevskim recitalom poklonila 80-letnici našega priznanega in odličnega skladatelja Lojzeta Lebiča, ki rojstni dan slavi prav na dan koncerta.

Lojze Lebič je ključna osebnost slovenskega kulturnega sveta, velik humanist, pronicljiv mislec, intelektualec in kritični opazovalec vsega, kar se dogaja okrog nas, ter predvsem – poglobljen in prodoren umetnik.

Lebičeve samospeve bosta poustvarila sopranistka Martina Zadro in baritonist Jože Vidic ob spremljavi Lane Bradić in Vladimirja Mlinarića. V prvem delu koncerta pa bomo prisluhnili Italijanski pesmarici vsaj nekoliko »našega« Huga Wolfa.
