Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague uvede 6. dubna 2023 v 19:30 v kostele U Salvátora v Praze jedno z velkolepých děl Wolfganga Amadea Mozarta – Requiem d moll.

Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague, Bohemian Choir Prague povede šéfdirigent orchestru Martin Šanda. Na koncertě vystoupí uznávané sólistky Noema Erba - soprán a Markéta Štefaniková - alt, člen Národního divadla Raman Hasymau - tenor a sólista Národního divadla Oleg Korotkov - bas.

„Mozartovo Requiem, tedy zádušní mše, je jedno z jeho nejznámějších děl plné emocí," uvedl Martin Šanda.

Právě hudba Requiemu provází vrcholné scény životopisného filmu Amadeus režiséra Miloše Formana, který obdržel osm Oscarů, 13 nominací na Oscara a dalších 32 ocenění včetně čtyř Zlatých globů.

Mozart začal skládat Requiem na základě velkorysé zakázky od anonymního zadavatele. Byl však uprostřed práce přemožen infekční nemocí a zemřel 5. prosince 1791. Poslední části dokomponoval Mozartův žák Franz Xaver Süssmayr.

Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague si od svého založení připsal na konto již nespočet úspěchů, například několik evropských turné s rockovými legendami a leadery kapel Deep Purple, Nazareth, Europe, Alice Cooper, Toto, Survivor, Foreigner, Journey, Bonnie Tyler, Uriah Heep a dalšími. Pochlubit se může také spoluprací na projektech se švédskou kapelou Sabaton, britskou kapelou Kosheen, 2Cellos, slavným španělským operním pěvcem José Carrerasem nebo vokální skupinou The Tenors. Seznam hvězdných jmen, která měla s pražským orchestrem co do činění, je skutečně obsáhlý. Za zmínku stojí například také houslistka Vanessa Mae, zpěvačka Sarah Brightman či trojnásobný držitel Grammy Michael Bublé. Orchestr má za sebou rovněž řadu klasických koncertů po celé Evropě, vycestoval ale také na turné po Japonsku a Číně.

On April 6, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. in U Salvátora church in Prague, Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague will perform one of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's magnificent works – Requiem in D minor.

Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague, Bohemian Choir Prague will be led by the orchestra's chief conductor Martin Šanda. Acclaimed soloists Noema Erba - soprano and Markéta Štefaniková - alto, member of the National Theater Raman Hasymau - tenor and soloist of the National Theater Oleg Korotkov - bass will perform at the concert.

"Mozart's Requiem, or requiem mass, is one of his most famous works, full of emotions," said Martin Šanda.

It is the music of Requiem that accompanies the climax scenes of the biographical film Amadeus directed by Miloš Forman, who received eight Oscars, 13 Oscar nominations and 32 other awards, including four Golden Globes.

Mozart began composing the Requiem on the basis of a generous commission from an anonymous client. However, he was overcome by an infectious disease in the middle of the work and died on December 5, 1791. The last parts were composed by Mozart's pupil Franz Xaver Süssmayr.

Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague has had countless successes since its foundation, for example several European tours with rock legends and band leaders Deep Purple, Nazareth, Europe, Alice Cooper, Toto, Survivor, Foreigner, Journey, Bonnie Tyler, Uriah Heep and others . He can also boast of collaboration on projects with the Swedish band Sabaton, the British band Kosheen, 2Cellos, the famous Spanish opera singer José Carreras or the vocal group The Tenors. The list of star names that had to do with the Prague orchestra is really extensive. Violinist Vanessa Mae, singer Sarah Brightman and three-time Grammy winner Michael Bublé are also worth mentioning. The orchestra has also performed a number of classical concerts throughout Europe, but also toured Japan and China.
