interviews in a large company. The five applicants are waiting for their chance to get the dream job. They are all different "types". While the doors are open to one, it simply doesn't go any further for another applicant. Is she less qualified? Or is that solely due to this strange point system that evaluates every action taken by the applicants?
This exciting and highly topical version of the baroque opera “Semiramis” holds up a mirror to us and asks: How and why do people make careers? Do knowledge and ability count or do gender and adaptability count? And why are the doors so much more open to some than to others?

We have decided to send a political signal for this opera production, including when it comes to the price of admission. We want to point out this unequal treatment of women in the world of work and the still unresolved gender pay gap and would like to compensate for this at least when you visit this piece.
Therefore, women pay 18% less than men in all price categories, which roughly corresponds to the gender pay gap.
The men pay the same price as usual in the opera loft and are of course always welcome!
