국내 유일의 민간프로페셔널 합창단으로 30년간 올곧게 순수 합창음악의 외길을 걸어오며 한국음악계 발전을 위해 노력하고 기쁨의 음악을 넘어서 감동의 음악을 선사해 온 서울모테트합창단이 창단 30주년 기념 마스터피스 시리즈 세 번째 작품으로 2019년 3월 26일 (화) 오후 7시 30분 예술의전당 콘서트홀에서 Johann Sebastian Bach의 「Die Motetten BWV 225-230」를 연주한다. 서울모테트합창단은 합창음악의 절정체인 바흐 모테트 전곡 연주를 통해 모테트의 풍부하고 조화로운 선율미와 각 파트간의 분명한 역할을 통해 합창음악의 극치를 드러낸다. 깊이 있고 영감 가득한 이번 연주를 통해 인간의 내면을 위로하고 영혼까지 치유하는 음악의 참의미를 얻어가는 소중한 시간이 될 것이다.

As the only private professional choir in Korea, it has been following the single path of pure choral music for 30 years. The Seoul Motet Choir, which has worked hard to develop the Korean music scene and presented music of emotion beyond joy, is the third piece in the Masterpiece Series commemorating the 30th anniversary of its founding, and will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 7:30 PM. Johann Sebastian Bach's “Die Motetten BWV 225-230” will be performed at the Seoul Arts Center Concert Hall. Seoul Motet Choir performs all of Bach's motets, which are the pinnacle of choral music, and reveals the pinnacle of choral music through the rich and harmonious melodies of the motets and the clear roles of each part. Through this deep and inspirational performance, it will be a valuable time to gain the true meaning of music that comforts the inner self of humans and heals the soul.
