It is the story of an extraordinary friendship between a prince who does not want to become king and a sheep who has no name. The prince wants to make his crown disappear because he is afraid of making wrong decisions for his people as king. When the sheep promises not to betray him, the prince suddenly says: Sheep, you are my friend! But of course a friend needs a name so that you can call them when you need them. And so Schaf sets out to find a name for himself ...
Two actresses, two singers and two musicians tell the touching story of a search for identity in conjunction with music by Purcell, Monteverdi and Handel.
