Brahms himself described the piece as “a very boisterous potpourri of student songs.”  Next, let the Dances of Galánta by Kodály whisk you away to the quaint town of Galánta. These lively and heartwarming dances are infused with the rustic charm of Hungarian folk music, painting a vivid tapestry of cultural heritage and communal festivity. The evening culminates with Brahms’ Symphony No. 2, that takes you on an emotional odyssey.
