Some are classical singers from the ensemble of the Wuppertal Opera, others are singer-songwriters or jazz musicians. ›Songs & Arien‹ combines music and conversation in an evening like no other: aria meets song, jazz meets art song. Worlds of music meet at ear level. Live, playful and in dialogue with the director, singer and author Torsten Krug. In the premiere of our new series, baritone Simon Stricker and singer-songwriter Maria Basel meet. In the second edition, rapper Horst Wegener and bass Sebastian Campione take a seat on the sofa. The bar is open we listen.
