Tag med til en koncert med fokus på operaens lidenskabelige og tragiske kvindefigurer og deres farverige og udtryksfulde musik. Sopranen Simone Victor er specialist i den musik, som fik publikum til at gå amok i fandyrkelse i begyndelsen af 1800-tallet – ikke mindst, når sopranen undervejs blev vanvittig og simpelthen bare måtte udtrykke sin frustration og lidenskab i nærmest overnaturligt virtuose arier.  

Simone Victor er uddannet privat, blandt andet i London under den amerikanske tenor Kenneth Querns og gennem masterclasses og kurser i England, Italien og Danmark. I 2017 debuterede hun hos Opera Nordsjælland som Santuzza i Mascagnis Cavalleria Rusticana og har siden stået på scener i både forskellige hovedpartier og som solist ved koncerter. Senest på Copenhagen Opera Festival 2021 blev hun af Politiken og DR P2 udråbt som det nye "supertalent". Hun bakkes op af pianisten Ulrich Stærk, der er en af landets allermest efterspurgte akkompagnatører.

Come along to a concert focusing on the opera's passionate and tragic female characters and their colorful and expressive music. The soprano Simone Victor is a specialist in the music that made the audience go crazy in fan worship in the early 1800s - not least when the soprano went crazy along the way and simply had to express her frustration and passion in almost supernaturally virtuosic arias.  

Simone Victor is educated privately, including in London under the American tenor Kenneth Querns and through masterclasses and courses in England, Italy and Denmark. In 2017, she made her debut at Opera Nordsjælland as Santuzza in Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana and has since been on stage in various main roles and as a soloist at concerts. Most recently, at the Copenhagen Opera Festival 2021, she was hailed by Politiken and DR P2 as the new "super talent". She is supported by the pianist Ulrich Stærk, who is one of the country's most sought-after accompanists.

The concert is recorded and broadcast by DR P2.
