The Bat’s Revenge (Die Fledermaus), the ever popular Viennese comic musical gets updated in this new original production set in the Golden Age of Hollywood and sung in English. With a new setting and libretto for Die Fledermaus, Director and Librettist, Josh Shaw hopes to make a little more sense of things with the use of movie magic.


At Silverspot Cinema – Theater 12, for one night only, set in the 1930’s just after ﬁlm studios have made the transition to talking pictures, follow the machinations of the erring matinee idol leading man, his neglected diva wife, aspiring actresses and singers struggling to make their names and an eccentric and mysterious Russian millionaire. Practical jokes and confusions abound against the background of beautiful and familiar music by Johann Strauss. Cash bar available.
