At the Edinburgh court, a commission of inquiry questioned officers who, responsible for bringing supplies to a lighthouse, found it deserted without understanding the reason. Then, a flashback confronts us with life in the lighthouse of the three missing guardians, sharing their solitude between mist and raging waves. To pass the time, we play cards, we sing, we try to escape the past which is becoming more and more present.
