The Phantom of the Opera" by the team of authors Deborah Sasson and Jochen Sautter has been enthusiastically received on over 500 stages in Europe. This German-language musical new production, which was created on the occasion of the 100th birthday of the novel "Le Fantôme de l'Opéra" written by Gaston Leroux in 1910, is one of the most successful touring musical productions in Europe.
The role of Christine will be interpreted by Boston singer and Echo Klassik award winner Deborah Sasson herself. Musical superstar Uwe Kröger could also be won over for this outstanding production. He takes on the prominent role of the phantom. New songs were specially composed and installed for him.
An 18-piece orchestra, specially put together by musical director Peter Oleksiak, plays the music live.
