Eine junge Gouvernante soll sich auf dem bilderbuchhaften Landsitz Bly der Erziehung und dem Wohlergehen der elternlosen Kinder Flora und Miles annehmen. "Welcome to Bly" - the invitation sounds tempting! A young governess is to take charge of the upbringing and welfare of the parentless children Flora and Miles at the picture-perfect country estate of Bly. But are the little creatures really as carefree and clueless as they appear to her at first glance? Benjamin Britten's chamber opera "The Turn of the Screw", based on the novella by Henry James, is broadcast under the musical direction of Kai Röhrig and the scenic direction of Florentine Klepper.
