Preiskonzert mit der Gewinnerin des Internationalen Kammergesangswettbewerbs „Seghizzi“ für Solostimme mit Klavierbegleitung.

 

Der Verein Corale Goriziana Cesare Augusto Seghizzi – der seit diesem Jahr ein wertvoller Partner des Piccolo Opera Festivals ist – organisiert seit zwanzig Jahren einen der wichtigsten Chorwettbewerbe Europas, an dem Ensembles aus aller Welt teilnehmen. Der Chorwettbewerb wird von weiteren Wettbewerben begleitet, darunter dem Internationalen Kammergesangswettbewerb für Solostimmen mit Klavierbegleitung.

Für das Konzert in der Villa Russiz haben die Künstler – Eleonora de Prez, Mezzosopran-Gewinnerin des Wettbewerbs 2022 und der Pianist Mateo Servián Sforza – ein poetisches und suggestives Programm ausgewählt das mit dem Thema Traum verbunden ist, das insbesondere im Repertoire der Romantik sehr präsent ist – das auf berührende Vokalkammermusik zwischen der deutschen und französischen Welt basiert. Ein Hinweis auch auf das Anwesen des Gastgebers, das als Hochzeitsgeschenk für Elvine Ritter de Zahony, einer Görzer Adeligen österreichischer Herkunft und protestantischen Glaubens und Graf Theodor Karl Leopold Anton de la Tour Voivrè, Mitglied einer alten und adeligen französischen Familie, katholischer Religion, geschaffen wurde.

Das Duo de Prez – Servian ist Gewinner des Nationalen Kunstpreises 2020 – Sektion Kammervokalmusik, des ersten absoluten Preises und des Seghizzi-Preises beim XIX. Internationalen Wettbewerb „Augusto Seghizzi“ 2022 sowie des FIDIPA-Preises beim Internationaler Wettbewerb „Elsa Respighi“ 2021 .

Das 2017 gegründete Duo absolvierte seine Ausbildung am Mailänder Konservatorium unter der Leitung von Daniela Uccello. In den letzten Jahren trat es an renommierten Veranstaltungsorten auf, darunter im Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, in der Sala Alessi im Palazzo Marino, in der Stiftung Liszt-Institut in Bologna, im Palazzo Verità-Poeta in Verona, in der Aula Magna der Akademie der Schönen Künste di Brera, im Puccini-Saal des Mailänder Konservatoriums, im Bagatti-Valsecchi-Museum, im Auditorium des Nationalen Symphonieorchesters von Paraguay, im Casa della Memoria in Mailand und in der Bertoia-Galerie in Pordenone.

L’Associazione Corale Goriziana Cesare Augusto Seghizzi – che da quest’anno è prezioso partner del Piccolo Opera Festival – da vent’anni organizza uno dei più importanti concorsi corali d’Europa, al quale partecipano compagini da tutto il mondo. Alla competizione corale sono affiancati anche altri concorsi, tra cui il Concorso Internazionale di Canto Cameristico per voci soliste con accompagnamento di pianoforte.

Per il concerto a Villa Russiz gli artisti – Eleonora de Prez, mezzosoprano vincitrice del Concorso 2022 e il pianista Mateo Servián Sforza – hanno scelto un programma poetico e suggestivo, legato al tema del sogno – molto presente in particolare nel repertorio romantico – che attinge alla più toccante musica vocale cameristica, fra mondo tedesco e francese. Un rimando anche alla dimora ospite, che nasce come dono di nozze per Elvine Ritter de Zahony, nobildonna goriziana di origine austriaca e fede protestante, e il conte Theodor Karl Leopold Anton de la Tour Voivrè, esponente di un’antica e nobile famiglia francese di religione cattolica.

Winner of The Seghizzi International Competition for Chamber Singing for solo voice with piano accompaniment.

 

The C.A. Seghizzi Gorizia Choral Association (L’Associazione Corale Goriziana Cesare Augusto Seghizzi) has been organizing one of the most important international choral competitions in Europe for the last twenty years and, this year, the Little Opera Festival is delighted to include the association among our partners and collaborators. The choral competition is not the only competition organised by the Association and among these features the International Competition for Chamber Singing for soloists with a piano accompaniment.

For the concert at Villa Russiz the artists, Eleonora de Prez (mezzosoprano winner of the 2022 competition) and the pianist Mateo Servián Sforza have chosen a poetic and evocative programme linked to the theme of dreams. This theme is particularly present in the Romantic repertoire and the concert taps into some of the most touching vocal chamber music in French and German. Romance and a blending of the French and German worlds can also be found in our hosting venue. The Villa Russiz was given as a wedding present to Elvine Ritter de Zahony, a Gorizian noblewoman of Austrian birth and protestant faith, and Count Theodor Karl Leopold Anton de la Tour Voivrè, descendent of an ancient French noble family of Catholic faith.

The de Prez-Servian Sforza duo has won a number of well-recognised awards including the Premio Nazionale delle Art (Italian National Art Prize) in 2020 in the chamber singing category, first prize and a special mention in the 19th edition of the Seghizzi International Chamber Music Competition for Solo Voice in 2022, and the FIDIPA (Italian Federation for Professional Women In Art and Business) Prize at the Elsa Respighi International Competition in 2021.

In recent years, the duo has performed in prestigious venues such as the Olympic Theatre in Vicenza, the Sala Alessi in Palazzo Marino in Milan, The Liszt Institute Foundation in Bologna, Palazzo Verità-Poeta in Verona, the Aula Magna in the Accademia di Belle Arti in Brera, the Sala Puccini in Milan’s Conservatoire, the Bagatti-Valsecchi Museum, the Paraguay National Symphony Orchestra’s Auditorium, the Casa della Memoria in Milan, and the Bertoia Gallery in Pordenone.
