Nel celebrare il bicentenario della nascita di César Franck, a cui il Palazzetto Bru Zane ha dedicato un festival la scorsa stagione, l’Orchestre National de France propone quattro programmi che presentano l’organista di Sainte-Clotilde confrontandolo con il repertorio del XIX e XX. Nel secondo appuntamento di questo ciclo, tre pezzi sinfonici del compositore saranno messi a confronto con tre altre opere di Wagner.

2022 est une date anniversaire pour César Franck – le bicentenaire de sa naissance – et, bien que le Palazzetto Bru Zane lui ait déjà dédié un festival la saison passée, il prolonge néanmoins les célébrations en accompagnant ce cycle de concerts de l’Orchestre National de France. Quatre programmes différents présentent l’organiste de Sainte-Clotilde aux côtés des piliers du répertoire européen des XIXe et XXe. Le deuxième concert de ce cycle met en regard trois pièces symphoniques du compositeur avec trois autres œuvres de Wagner.

2022 is an anniversary date for César Franck – the bicentenary of his birth – and, although the Palazzetto Bru Zane has already dedicated a festival to him last season, he is nevertheless extending the celebrations by accompanying this cycle of concerts by the Orchester National de France. Four different programs present the organist of Sainte-Clotilde alongside the pillars of the European repertoire of the 19th and 20th centuries . The second concert of this cycle brings together three symphonic pieces by the composer with three other works by Wagner.
