Puccini conceived "Turandot" as a massive, spectacular procession, and the staging of the Ancient Theater recreates it! Chinese Princess Turandot condemns to death all men who have tried to offer her their hand and heart, who are unsuccessfully trying to answer her mysteries. However, Prince Calaf is ready to do anything to win her over. He performs the captivating aria Nessun dorma, which has been enchanting audiences for nearly a century. An influential performance with the participation of the Korean soprano Lila Lee, who performed on the stage in Verona, and the tenor Kamen Chanev, who triumphed as Calaf in the operas in Rome, Berlin, Montreal and others.
