Un ballo in maschera Verdi

Giuseppe Verdi's masked ball is a true work of opera art. Almost the essence of this musical genre. It is full of beautiful music, and in the libretto layer it tells a dramatic story of love, jealousy, conspiracy and crimes set against the background of courtly chambers, culminating during the title ball. But is there anything else? something special, linking this work with Szczecin. One of the earlier versions of the plot told a story unfolding on? Szczecin castle! It is impossible to imagine a better place for its staging in Poland than the seat of the Opera at the Castle.
