Eine Beschwörung der guten Geister zum Auftakt der Saison kann ja nun wirklich nicht schaden: Theaterleute sind aus Tradition abergläubisch. Ein Abend also, der gewissermaßen dreimal auf Holz klopft und bereits den Bogen spannt zu unserer Uraufführung Der rote Wal am Ende der Saison: Vom Wahlabend zum Wal-Abend. Als Kapitän ist hier wie dort Maeckes an Bord, der in den letzten Jahren den Littmann-Bau schon mehrfach in die Party-Oper verwandelt hat. Zentraler Akteur des Abends ist aber das Staatsorchester Stuttgart und ein Programm, das verschiedene gute Geister vereint und mit breiter Brust Farbe bekennt.
