Amici Musicae, an amateur choir founded in 1989, is the Resident Choir of the Zaragoza Auditorium, where over 30 years it has grown and has become a choral benchmark inside and outside Aragon. He has performed the great works of the choral symphonic repertoire in such important venues as the National Auditorium in Madrid, Palau de la Música in Barcelona, ​​Palau de la Música in Valencia, Basilica Sta. Maria Maggiore and Palacio de la Música (Rome), Calouste Auditorium Gulbenkian (Lisbon), Cathedral and Halle aux Grains (Toulouse), Church Our Lady of Dolours de Chelsea (London) and Kostel sv. Simona to Judy (Prague).
It has been directed by batons from the careers of Sir Neville Marriner, Gianandrea Noseda, Zubin Mehta or Valery Gergiev; He has sung with soloists such as Alfredo Kraus and Ainhoa ​​Arteta, and has collaborated, in addition to the rest of the Auditorium's resident groups, with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, the RTVE Orchestra, the Cadaqués Orchestra, JONDE, etc.
Currently Igor Tantos directs the senior choir, Vanesa García is the director of the youth choir and Isabel Solaño directs the children's choirs; Vanesa García is in charge in addition to the vocal technique.
During the recent pandemic period, it has maintained its activity with rehearsals and online activities that have resulted in various music videos made by all the Amici choirs. With the new stage of return to rehearsals and stages, it has resumed its face-to-face activity following the security protocols of the Choir itself and the Auditorium, and with its renewed commitment to the activity of the Auditorium and to choral music.
