Stefan Pop

Since his 2009 debut at the Rome Opera as Alfredo in Franco Zeffirelli’s production of La Traviata conducted by Gianluigi Gelmetti and his 2010 prize at the Operalia competition in Milan, Stefan Pop has been considered among today’s leading lyric tenors. The season 2020/21 starts for Stefan Pop with Rodolfo (La Bohème) in Liege. He will portray the role of Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly) at the Staatsoper Hamburg and Gennaro (Lucrezia Borgia) at the Teatro Regio di Torino and will return to the Royal Opera House in London as Gabriele Adorno.
