Biography
Andrew Young was born in Adelaide, South Australia. After completing a Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry/Pharmacology) he decided to make his hobby his career and auditioned for the Elder Conseratvatorium of Music. He was accepted and was awarded the Elder Scholarship for Voice. He moved to Sydney, completed a Graduate Diploma in Music (Opera) at the Sydney Conservatorium, sang in the Extra Chorus for Opera Australia and finally ended up a member of the Young Artists Programme at Opera Queensland. His musical adventures took next him to London, where he sang in the ensemble and covered various roles for Grange Park Opera, Pimlico Opera and the Carl Rosa Opera Company. He moved to Berlin in 2006 and was an Ensemble member at the Landesbühnen Sachsen (Radebeul) in 2007. Freelance sin
