Biography
Nevena Bridgen was born in Belgrade.She graduated with honours at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade. She holds a Master of Music from Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. She joined the Opera ensemble of the National Theatre in Belgrade as a principal soloist in 2015. In previous opera seasons highlights include her role of Mimi in La Boheme, Tatyana in Onegin, Lauretta in Gianni Schcchi, Susanna in Marriage of Figaro, Zerlina in Don Giovanni etc. The opera season 2021/22 highlights so far include her role of Micaela in Carmen and Eurdice in Orfeo et Euridice. In 2020 Nevena debut at the Grand Opera of Uzbekistan in Tashkent where she sang as a guest artist in the role of Mimi in La Boheme, for which she was critically acclaimed Nevena recently released the opera video
