Aurora Marthens

Aurora Marthens began studying classical singing in 2007 under Tanja Kauppinen-Savijoki. In 2009, she continued her studies with Marjut Hannula and later also with Riikka Hakola. Marthens began her professional studies in singing at the Turku Conservatory under Jouni Kuorikoski in the autumn of 2013. Since the autumn of 2015, she has studied at the Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki as a student of Outi Kähkönen and Sirkka Parviainen. Marthens has already performed as a soloist in several choirs and orchestras, including Vivaldi's Gloria in 2009, Pergoles 'Stabat Mater and Mozart's C minor in 2013, and performed at the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra's Young Soloists' Concert in spring 2014.
