Biography
Blerta Zhegu was born in Tirana (Albania). She began her musical studies in her homeland, accompanied by Nina Mula (mother and teacher of the soprano Inva Mula), to continue her training with several specializations at the conservatories Claudio Monteverdi” in Bolzano,Italy and « Darius Milhaud » in Aix en Provence. Thereafter, Blerta has studied with Nathaniel Brodsky (a retired soloist having performed with the Chicago Opera and the Metropolitan Opera in New York). In addition, she participated in master classes involving many illustrious singers such as Renato Bruson, Leo Nucci, Luciana Serra, Yvonne Minton, Sophie Koch, Jose van Dam, Enzo Tei, Ermonela Jaho, Inva Mula, ect Blerta Zhegu’s professional career began at the Bolzano Municipal Theatre with the role of Lucy in Gian Carlo Men
