Biography
The Canadian lyric tenor Dan Chamandy was an ensemble member of the Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck for several seasons. In the 2004/05 season he sang the following roles Der Kaiser / Jüngling in Die Frau ohne Schatten , Edwin in Die Csárdásfürstin , Luzio in Wagner's Das Liebesverbot , Le Duc in Massenet's Chérubin , and Sergei in Lady Macbeth of Mzensk . In previous seasons he sang Florestan in Fidelio , Don José in Carmen , Macduff in Macbeth, Werther , Cassio in Otello , Calàf in Turandot , Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, the singer in Der Rosenkavalier , Faust , Ferrando in Così fan tutte , Nemorino in L'Elisir d'amore, Was Ihr Wollt, Neues vom Tage, as well as in the operetta subject Sou Chong in The Land of Smiles , The Count of Luxembourg , Siegfried in The funny Nibelungs , Eisenstein
