Biography
OPERA Hyejun Kwon mezzo-soprano Mezzo-soprano Hyejun Kwon, born in Incheon/South Korea, completed her bachelor's degree at Ewha Womans University with Prof. Eunhee Kim while performing as Dorabella in Mozart's Così fan Tutte . She has also held the position of alto in the Ewha Chamber Choir and was the alto soloist at Los Angeles Disney Hall. From 2020 Hyejun Kwon will be studying singing at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin in the class of Prof. Ewa Wolak. During her singing studies she took part in various productions of the opera class, among others as Ruggiero in Handel's Alcina , Liubica in Ana Sokolović 's Svadba and sang the role of Suzuki in Madama Butterfly at the opera gala concert in the Konzerthaus Berlin.
