Jens Bruno Hansen

Jens Bruno Hansen, danish bass born in 1960. Contracts with Århus Sommeropera, Musikdramatisk Teater, Nordjysk Operakompagnie, The Danish National Opera in Aarhus, Den Anden Opera (The Other Opera) in Copenhagen and, since 1994, with The Royal Danish Opera in Copenhagen. Apart from that, he has frequently been cast, in many different contexts, as a bass soloist in the classic works of the oratorio repertoire and as a performer of the most recent contemporary music. Specialized in performing unconventional and reconceptualised musical drama and opera. Since 1994 Jens Bruno Hansen has created numerous different characters in productions staged by directors such as Lizzi Rode, Henrik Sartou, Brigitte Kolerus, Boxiganga, Niels Pihl, Flemming Enevold, Eyun Johannessen, Nigel Warrinton, Kasper B
