Biography
Karin (age 23) is studying at the College of Opera in Stockholm, finishing her bachelor’s degree in 2017. Before college she was accepted to a pre-college in the quaint little village of Vadstena, a school with focus on lieder and art song. In the summer of 2015 she had the great opportunity to be a scholarship holder at Vadstena-Akademien. She participated in a newly commissioned work, an opera called Son of Heaven by composer Moto Osada and librettist Kerstin Perski. In the year of 2016 she won the prestigious Jenny Lind-scholarship and has toured North America and Sweden. In November 2016, she will do her internship at The Royal Opera House in Stockholm as Herodias' Page in Strauss' Salome.
