Kornélia Szabó

Kornélia was born into a music-loving family, where she was introduced to musical instruments at an early age. During her secondary school studies, she was awarded the Kazinczy medal in the 2004 national competition. After four years studying piano and ten years studying flute, she decided to undertake a career in classical music. After years of study at the Vikár Sándor Music School in Nyíregyháza, she moved to Budapest to start her university studies in humanities. There, she became a student of the opera singer Jolán Sánta, winner of the 1988 Pavarotti Singing Competition and Bartók-Pásztory Prize.
