Biography
Margo Arsane is a French mezzo-soprano. She was an Emerging Artist at Scottish Opera and a Young Artist at Opéra National de Lyon for the season 2020-21. In the season 2021-22, Margo returns as DORABELLA Cosi fan tutte at Scottish Opera and will tour Scotland in Opera Highlights. She will make her debut as L’ENFANT in Ravel’s L’Enfant et les Sortilèges at Landestheater Coburg in Germany, and will perform the title-role in the world premiere of Raising Icarus by Michael Zev Gordon at the Barber Institute Birmingham. As an Emerging Artist at Scottish Opera, she performed as DORABELLA in a filmed production of Cosi fan tutte, covered HANSEL Hansel and Gretel and MEG PAGE Falstaff in David McVicar’s production, and recorded Chausson’s Poème de l’amour et de la mer with the Scottish Opera Orc
