Marta Babić

Marta Babić (mezzo-soprano) graduated from Zagreb Music Academy with a degree in vocal performance, studying with Mira Zidarić-Ore&scaronković. After completing her studies, she took part in a vocal postgraduate course at “Flanders Operastudio Vlaanderen” in Belgium. She worked with many renowned opera singers and pedagogues such as Eva Blahova and Sherman Lowe. Ms. Babić won 2nd prize at the International Competition for Young Opera Singers “Pietro Mongini” in Italy and 1st prize at the 46th Competition for Young Music Artists Darko Lukić for her whole evening recital in the concert hall Vatroslav Lisinski in Zagreb, Croatia. Abroad she performed in Belgium, Holland, Irleand,Spain, Italy, France... In the theatre Schouwburg in Rotterdam, she sang Dinah from the opera “Trouble in Tah
