Biography
Tenor Martin Lindau was born in Angelholm in Sweden. He started studying singing as a barytone at upper middle school for Glenn Nilsson in the town of Klippan. He continued he's studies at Ingesund university of music completing his bachelor in 2011 and then continued his education in Como in Italy where he studied with Maestro Maurizio Comencini and eventually got his masters degree in 2014, finishing with the maximum 7 out of 7 for his concert thesis "Wagnerian heroes". In 2015 he debuted at the Hamburg kammeroper in the role of Camillo Cirelli in Mathias Husmann's opera "Dame mit Noten" and continued with singing Basilio in "Le nozze di Figaro" by Mozart. He is currently studying with the great german heldentenor Siegfried Jerusalem.
