Biography
Oliver Rundell studied Music at Cambridge University, where he was Organ Scholar at Corpus Christi College, and subsequently trained at the National Opera Studio in London. In 2002 he took up a full-time post on the music staff at Scottish Opera, where he worked as repetiteur on over thirty productions, including Wagner's Ring cycle. In addition to his work as pianist and coach, he also conducted touring productions of Die Fledermaus and La Cenerentola. Since 2010, Oliver has been working as a freelancer, and has been a regular guest repetiteur and assistant conductor at Opera North. Based in Glasgow, Oliver combines his work as resident coach in the opera school of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a busy schedule of chamber music and conducting. An enthusiastic perfor
