Biography
Pascal Franssen studied at Maastricht Conservatory with main subject teacher Yvonne Schiffelers. Here he has performed in several conservatory production. The Dutch tenor is price winner of the 31st International Singing Competition Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg, where he performed as Wenzel in Die Verkaufte Braut (Smetana) in the summer of 2022. He also performed roles in productions from Opera Zuid, Opera Compact and more. He gained much stage experience in opera choirs, like Opera Zuid, Opera Spanga and the extra choir of Theater Aachen. Next to opera, he also feels at home in the concert repertoire. For example, masses from Schubert, the evangelist in Bach’s Johannes Passion and more.
