Pauliina Linnosaari

A Finnish soprano Pauliina Linnosaari was born in Helsinki, Finland. She began her music education at the age of five on the violin and the piano. Throughout her youth, in addition to her classical music education, she enjoyed playing various band instruments, especially the drums. She later studied music and singing at the Sibelius Academy in her hometown. Linnosaari has expanded her knowledge at the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences (Finland) and Indiana University Jacobs School of Music (USA). In 2008-10 she was a stipendiate of the Matti Salminen Fund at the Finnish National Opera in Helsinki and in 2010 she was a member of the Lyric Opera Studio Weimar.
